Join Ambridge Media Australia at the iconic Melbourne Central Lion Hotel for a high-energy, film-themed speed dating event inspired by the upcoming Australian feature film: Matched, Mismatched & Everything In-Between.
While our Executive Producers at Greenlit (USA) are busy packaging the film for the global stage, we are hitting the heart of Melbourne to find the real-life chemistry that fuels the big screen. This isn’t just speed dating—it’s an interactive night out where your search for love helps support independent Australian filmmaking.
✨ THE “DIRECTOR’S CUT” EXPERIENCE
We’re replacing awkward silences with dynamic, film-inspired rounds:
• Round 1: The Director’s Cut — Fast-paced conversation using our “Scripted” Prompt Cards (e.g., “If our first date was a movie trope, would we be ‘Enemies to Lovers’ or ‘The Slow Burn’?”)
• Round 2: The Chemistry Test — Short, playful improv challenges designed to break the ice and see who truly sparks under the spotlight.
• The Candid Confessional — Step into our private “Diary Room” to share your best (or worst) dating stories on camera. (100% voluntary—help us gather “research” for the movie!)

• 6:45 PM: The Pre-Show (Drinks, Mingling & Warm-up Interviews)
• 7:30 PM: “ACTION!” (Speed Dating Rounds Begin)
• 8:45 PM: Intermission (Refills & Optional Candid Confessionals)
• 9:00 PM: The Final Act (Final Mingling & Match Submissions)
• 10:00 PM: That’s a Wrap! (The Lion stays open late for the after-party)
🎥 FILMING & CONSENT
This event is being filmed to capture the atmosphere and generate promotional content for the film. We respect your comfort level! Participation in on-camera interviews is 100% voluntary. Main rounds will be filmed from a distance for B-roll. All attendees are required to sign a Media and Consent Form upon arrival.
